(More customer reviews)I started a walking program about 6 months ago. I found a very steep hill that I walk up & down. I've taken off 25 pounds, but I have reached a point where I am either going to have to add more hills or start running, niether of which I want to do. I bought this belt & started with only 6 pounds in the belt & let me tell you, it makes quite a difference! I feel the difference walking on a flat surface, but when doing hills, it is amazing how much more of a workout 6 pounds can make!
The belt is very comfortable. It doesn't pinch or bind. It has 10 pouches around the outside which each hold a 2 pound sand pack. It has a long velcro strap so you can really cinch it in place so there is zero slippage while walking.
I chose a weighted belt over a weighted vest because I think in the summer it will be cooler. I found another brand of weighted belt, but it was much more expensive.
This is definitely one of my better fitness purchases. Highly recommended!
